I am offering FREE Leadership guidance

The term “wisdom” is thrown around all the time with little understanding of what it means or involves. Moreover, one person’s wisdom is another person’s “meh.” It is highly relative, especially without definition. There are many articles, treatises, and even research on the subject, all of which might make your head spin. In my view, there is little agreement as to what it is.

Anyone claiming to offer wisdom, however, ought to at least define it. I see wisdom as the ability to make the best decision in a given situation that produces the best outcome for all concerned. That seems simple, but finding wisdom is not so easy. In my opinion, few people access it and even fewer take the actions to embody it.

Through this page, my aim is to offer wisdom for people in positions of leadership who want to make better decisions and produce better outcomes.

My Offer

I’ve been in the business of offering leadership guidance or wisdom for 40 years. I’ve consulted to well over 400 organizations, coached and led workshops for more than 2000 leaders. And I’ve also written and published 7 books on leadership, relationships, and organizational effectiveness. As I begin to enter my later years, many of my clients are now saying, “hey Keith, I was hoping to get your wisdom on (fill in the blank).” I often respond with, “If you want wisdom, that will cost you a little more.” They laugh and we move to the topic at hand. When asked to provide leadership wisdom, I notice how satisfying it is for me to offer it, especially when it is well received and even more, when it is used. So, I’ve decided to offer wisdom to anyone who wants it.

As you will see on my bio page, I’ve counseled scores of CEOs, hundreds of senior executives, leaders in governmental positions, countless Executive Directors, and leaders of schools and school systems. If you fall into those categories, seek my guidance here. However, even if you don’t fall into those categories and define yourself in more modest ways, seek me out anyway. I am here for anyone who wants some leadership guidance.

My Fees

Because I am only a few years away from retirement (can’t be too sure given the economy), I don’t need much more money. Instead, at the next phase of my life, I want to feel well used. I figure this is a great way to do that. I am offering leadership wisdom to anyone who wants it, and the price is whatever you want to pay. The simple strategy is this: go to this link and pick a 30-minute time slot.

Schedule a time slot

When you show up, I’ll say: “tell me about yourself and then please tell me what’s on your mind.”  That begins the process, and you get to use me for my leadership counsel. Along the way, I’ll do my best to ask questions and toward the end, I’ll offer some wisdom, or invite you to find your own wisdom, or both. If you are satisfied, you will pay me for my wisdom here:

Pay Here

Pay me as little or as much as you like. Currently I’m compensated more than adequately for consulting and coaching work. Imagine what one might pay for a really good lawyer, and you get a sense of my fees. But here, you get to pay as much or as little as you want and can afford. The whole thing is fashioned after medicine people in indigenous tribes of yesteryear (maybe they still do it today) who provided sacred guidance and who were paid whatever anyone might want to offer. They received their pay with gratitude, and they didn’t question the amount. I’ll be happy with whatever you choose to offer and grateful we connected.

That’s it. It’s a grand experiment on my part to discover how to offer my wisdom. There is no catch.
